Julian Jacob Jackson was born on November 11, 1908. He attended Englewood High School on the south side of Chicago, and entered the University of Chicago in 1926. Jackson received a PhB in June 1931, and transferred to the graduate division in 1934. He left without receiving any further degrees. Eleanor Jackson was born on December 20, 1912 in Kansas City, Missouri. She attended Kansas City Junior College, and entered the University of Chicago in 1943. She was married to...
